Nita Shilimkar Age and Date of Birth
Questions about Nita Shilimkar’s age come up often, and the answer depends on which source you read. Most biography sites report that she was born on April 5, 1995. A smaller group of sites instead report April 4, 1995. Her birthday is therefore reported as either April 4 or April 5, and no official document or verified statement from her that settles the question turned up in my search.
The birth year is more consistent. Every source I found points to 1995. Counting from that year, she turned 31 in April 2026 whichever of the two dates is correct, so her age as of October 1, 2026 is 31. Older articles show the same arithmetic at different times. A 2021 profile said she was 26 years old, and a 2025 article described her as 30 years old in 2025. Those figures are consistent with a 1995 birth, and the exact birth date remains unconfirmed.
Early Life and Education
Details of Nita Shilimkar’s childhood are limited, and the sources conflict. Some describe her as being born into a Marathi Hindu family from Mumbai, Maharashtra. Others say she was born in Kerala but grew up in Mumbai, and one profile names Munnar as her birthplace. Her place of birth is therefore not reliably established. What the sources do agree on is that she is closely associated with Mumbai and has lived there for most of her life and career.
Her education is likewise described in different ways. Some profiles say she completed her schooling in Mumbai and holds a degree from Mumbai University, and one adds a specific school name, though I couldn’t confirm it independently. Another source says she started her career during her college days, which suggests she was building an online presence while studying. Her degree subject, her college and her graduation year are not publicly disclosed. Her parents’ names and occupations are also not publicly disclosed. One site describes the family as middle-class, but that is a general description and not a documented fact.
Career Journey
Nita Shilimkar’s career began on short-video platforms. One profile says she started in late 2017 by posting short dance clips and lip-sync videos. She became widely known on TikTok, and several biographies describe her as a former TikTok star with a large following before the app was banned in India in 2020. That ban pushed many Indian creators to look for new platforms, and she moved her content to Instagram Reels, YouTube and Indian short-video apps such as Moj and Takatak.
The shift to YouTube came in stages. One profile says she joined YouTube in 2018 and uploaded her first video in September 2020. Another page says she launched her self-titled channel in 2018. The two accounts are compatible. The channel may have existed earlier, while her active uploading began in 2020. Another profile mentions an earlier channel focused on pranks. She is also reported to have made prank videos with a creator known as AJ (Ajay Sudarshan Gundu) and to have collaborated with Rohit Zinjurke, another well-known creator. According to one account, she messaged him to propose a joint video and invited him to Mumbai to shoot together. That account is not independently verified, and it comes from a blog-style profile.
Her content has covered a range of formats over the years. Dance and lip-sync clips made her name, and later work includes fashion videos, travel vlogs and Reels. Several profiles say she has also appeared as a model in music videos, with titles such as Goli Maar De, Bimariyan and Attitude named in one source. One site says she appeared as a background dancer in the film Tubelight, but I found it in only one place and could not confirm it, so treat it as a claim and not an established fact. As her audience grew, brands in beauty, fashion and lifestyle reportedly began working with her for promotions, which is how most creators at her level monetise their reach.
Major Achievements and Awards
Formal awards are scarce in the records I found. The one specific honour reported is the Lokmat Most Stylish Content Creator Award in 2023, presented at the Lokmat Stylish Awards in Mumbai. I could only find it on a single biography page, so I could not verify it against an official event listing or news coverage.
Her wider achievements are mostly measured in audience terms. She built a following on TikTok before the ban, rebuilt it on Instagram and YouTube afterwards, and kept growing as the creator economy in India expanded. Surviving a platform ban without losing momentum is a notable result for any creator, and it is probably the most meaningful marker of her success, even though it comes with no trophy.
Net Worth
Nita Shilimkar’s net worth is not publicly disclosed. She has not published financial statements, and no reliable business or financial outlet appears to have audited her earnings. The figures online are estimates by bio websites, and the methods behind them are rarely explained. One profile says that while her exact income is not publicly known, some sources estimate her net worth at around ₹2 to ₹3 crore. Treat that as a rough guess and not a verified number. Other sites give different estimates or none at all.
Her likely income sources are typical for a creator of her profile. They include advertising revenue from YouTube, paid brand partnerships and sponsored posts on Instagram, collaborations, and modelling or music video work. One profile lists YouTube revenue, Instagram, endorsements and music videos as her income streams. How much each source contributes, and what she earns per partnership, is not publicly available. Likewise, any claims about her lifestyle, such as cars, property or luxury purchases, would be speculation, and I have not included them.
Physical Appearance
Reported physical statistics vary and have never been confirmed by Nita Shilimkar in the sources I found. Most profiles give her height as around 5 feet 4 inches, or about 164 cm. One site instead reports 5 feet 6 inches. Weight estimates are also inconsistent, with figures of about 52 kg appearing on several sites and another giving a range of 52 to 60 kg. Because these numbers are unofficial and differ between sources, they should be read as approximate at best. Her eye colour and natural hair colour are not publicly disclosed, and she often changes her look through styling and makeup, so any single description would be unreliable.
Personal Life
Nita Shilimkar shares much of her life through content, but the details of her family and relationships are not well verified. Sources name a brother, Sagar Shilimkar, and one profile says she has two siblings. Another mentions a sister whose baby daughter has appeared in her videos. Her parents are not named publicly.
Relationship information is the least reliable area. Several profiles say she was once linked to the creator Ajay Sudarshan Gundu, and one describes a relationship that ended some time earlier. Other sites list a boyfriend named Gurdeep Rai, and the claims about her current status are not consistent. Nita has not confirmed any of this in the sources I reviewed, and she may have shared different information in her own posts. This article therefore does not state her current relationship status as fact. She is widely described as a close friend and frequent collaborator of Rohit Zinjurke, but that describes a creative partnership and says nothing about romance. There is no verified information that she is married or has children.
Social Media Presence
Her main platforms are Instagram and YouTube. Follower figures vary because they come from different dates, and they change constantly. A 2021 profile reported around 7.6 million Instagram followers, while a later one cited over 11.9 million followers on Instagram and more than 2.1 million subscribers on YouTube. A 2021 article gave her YouTube channel as having 1.1 million followers. The growth between those snapshots suggests a steadily expanding audience, but the current numbers should be checked directly on her profiles. She has also been active on Moj, and she was prominent on TikTok before its ban in India.
Interesting Facts
Nita Shilimkar’s story has a few details worth knowing. She is one of many Indian creators whose career was reshaped by the 2020 TikTok ban, and she is among those who adapted quickly by moving to Reels and YouTube. Her early prank content and later collaboration videos show how much of a creator’s growth in this space depends on teaming up with others. One profile says she is a dog lover who often posts pictures with her pets, which fits the relatable, personality-driven style of her videos. Her varying birthdate and birthplace across websites also show how easily unverified details spread online, and why it’s worth treating celebrity-bio sites with some caution.
